Basely Virtual was founded with a straightforward observation: too many talented UK businesses were being held back by the perception that they needed a physical London office to be taken seriously. The reality — that professional address services can provide everything a business legally and practically needs — was not well understood.

We set out to build a platform that makes professional UK address services genuinely accessible — clear pricing, fast onboarding, and a dashboard that actually makes managing your mail and compliance straightforward. From the beginning, we built compliance into the core of the product rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Our AML commitment

Basely Virtual is registered with HMRC as a Trust or Company Service Provider (TCSP) under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (MLRs 2017).

This means we carry out full Anti-Money Laundering (AML) identity verification on every customer before activating services. We verify government-issued photo ID and proof of address, and for company customers, we identify beneficial owners and persons with significant control (PSCs).

This is not simply a regulatory box-ticking exercise. We believe that robust customer due diligence protects the integrity of the UK business system — and the reputation of the thousands of legitimate businesses that use our services.

We are based at our London premises in Covent Garden — the same address we provide to our customers. When you use Basely Virtual, your mail is handled by our own team, in our own building.
